How to get over a Quarter Life Crisis | Life Coach Mark Fennell

Author and Life Coach Mark Fennell discusses what a quarter life crisis is and how to get over one. Generally, a quarter-life crisis can happen in your twenties or thirties and most commonly between 25 and 35 year olds.

It is when you feel either anxiety, unhappiness, stress or internal unrest about where you are at in life. This can be relationally, financially or professionally. It was reported from a LinkedIn survey that 75% of 25 to 35 year olds experienced what we call a quarter-life crisis. As a life coach, Mark is regularly requested to speak at companies on what we can do to avoid burn out and quarter-life crisis for management and staff.

Comparing ourselves to our peers or choosing a path we now feel is the wrong one can all result in us feeling frustrated or in dispair as in what to do to fix things. There is an old quote that says “Comparison is the thief of joy” and it can also cause us to feel we are not where we should be in life.

This interview aired on Ireland’s top breakfast show IrelandAM where resident Life Coach Mark Fennell chats with Karen Koster and Tommy Bowe about this all-important topic.
